I noticed the other day that every other house in our neighborhood has wreaths on the front door. It seems to be a welcome to our world- prepare yourself for what is within....maybe not that dramatic- but you get the general idea. I enjoyed looking at a bunch of them and decided to share-

So I know a lot of people are pro shower...and think showers are really neat too- but I will always save a little place in my heart for my first love-BATHTUBS...I've known far more people that I know to be injured while taking a shower than a bath and to be perfectly honest I think its ridiculously relaxing.I found a bunch of cool, crazy, and neat ones I would like to share with you

I also would like to share a part of one of my favorite episodes of FRIENDS involving baths :-)

So my wonderful mother gave me some hand me down shelves that needed a little help they were originally a wood finish and I have been painting them several coats of an off white color. I think the first set turned out well...so I am going to do the other set next weekend.

So I went looking for odds and ends at a couple different thrift store the other day and found some neat retro things and some newer things that could be redone.

I love blues, greens, and yellows in living rooms mixed with neutrals and a bit of natural something or other in there too. I do notice I tend to go for the neutral colored sofas versus loud pieces of furniture and muted walls...There also has to be some sort of architectural touch to be played up or wind up entirely bored with the place.

So after looking through a bunch of nurseries...I've come across a trend...I really like trees...names...and birds...or really any nature theme...So I went through a bunch more nurseries and found awesomeness....Super Mario, Camelot, Modern, Boutique, Cowboy Awesomeness...and I really can't help myself but post them.

It seems there's a baby boom coming on this summer and fall...Babies and Children are everywhere!!!! Not that they aren't super cute and adorable-I just don't want any quite yet...but in honor of all of those who do have little younglings coming along and all those who already have a little sproutlings I decided to post some of my favorite Nursery Designs. I really love nurseries-there is just something so wonderful about them. I especially like nurseries that aren't the standard pink/blue....Not that those aren't lovely as well...I just really like to see some other colors once-in-awhile.

I've noticed a lot of creative ideas for headboards on B&G and HGTV....so I thought I'd post my favorites....I really love blues if you can't tell- especially in bedrooms. To me its the most sleep promoting and soothing color out there in the lighter shades of it of course. I am more of a lighter shades of colors kind of person, though I do like punchy kind of colors for accents. Anyway these headboards are made out of bench cushions, handkerchieves, pictures and window frames. P.S. In one of the photos they use drums as the nightstands-awesomeness.
