So basically I am super excited all of the seeds I planted are actually growing....kinda silly- but it seems like when I did this when I was a kid nothing ever grew...but almost all of my plants are growing. I planted a bunch of wildflower packets and a bunch of veggies so far...I might plant some other things but we'll see -when I get grow boxes I think I just go nuts with them :-)
Gardening Update!!!!
I really love gardens that have a really overgrown cottage-y feel to them. I also love fresh vegetables and fruit- so it has come to my attention that in order to save money I should plant these items....That is my positive goal for today purchase vegetable seeds and plant them in movable containers....so they can go to a new home with us possibly....or wherever we might end up. So I liberty of finding and posting normal people's beautiful garden pictures that I liked to share.
Oh and p.s. found neat little thing on B&G about gardening for your region and season-http://www.bhg.com/gardening/gardening-by-region/mountain-west-and-high-plains/
Svetlana and I checked on our dirt pots and discovered growing things! SO SO SO excited. We decided to plant a second dirt pot....When the flowers are big enough we'll plant them in Svet's garden and I'll update as we go along. Overall Svetlana and I are happy with the results....we didn't even mind the rain today.
Rare pic of Svetlana awake and looking at the camera. After deciding we should stay out in the rain went inside had some tea....Svet took a nap.
Green things in the bucket...means we made stuff grow WOOOOOTTTTTT!!!!!
Svetlana and I's dirt pots...that we didn't think would grow anything but were hoping they would so we could plant them in Svetlana's garden.

So this year, I have decided to make Svetlana a garden of her very own to eat and roll around in the dirt in. I just planted a few flowers, but I'll post more as I plant them. So far I just picked a few pink ones the one in the middle has the best smell...it is called a hyacinth (for those who don't know all the flower names like me).
