I really enjoy films with Michael Caine in them- I love his Cockney accent and his working class mannerisms....best of all I think he's a witty old geezer with sass. I miss that in today's movies...But anyway I love his work...

-After eight years in Hollywood: Weather always the same. Nothing to talk about. No seasons. My gardener told me that if I wanted to grow daffodils, I'd have to keep them in the fridge for five weeks so they'd think they were in England. But I couldn't put them in the fridge because I thought the maid would make onion soup out of them and poison the bloody lot of us.-
I really love gardens that have a really overgrown cottage-y feel to them. I also love fresh vegetables and fruit- so it has come to my attention that in order to save money I should plant these items....That is my positive goal for today purchase vegetable seeds and plant them in movable containers....so they can go to a new home with us possibly....or wherever we might end up. So I liberty of finding and posting normal people's beautiful garden pictures that I liked to share.

I love blues, greens, and yellows in living rooms mixed with neutrals and a bit of natural something or other in there too. I do notice I tend to go for the neutral colored sofas versus loud pieces of furniture and muted walls...There also has to be some sort of architectural touch to be played up or wind up entirely bored with the place.
So after looking through a bunch of nurseries...I've come across a trend...I really like trees...names...and birds...or really any nature theme...So I went through a bunch more nurseries and found awesomeness....Super Mario, Camelot, Modern, Boutique, Cowboy Awesomeness...and I really can't help myself but post them.
It seems there's a baby boom coming on this summer and fall...Babies and Children are everywhere!!!! Not that they aren't super cute and adorable-I just don't want any quite yet...but in honor of all of those who do have little younglings coming along and all those who already have a little sproutlings I decided to post some of my favorite Nursery Designs. I really love nurseries-there is just something so wonderful about them. I especially like nurseries that aren't the standard pink/blue....Not that those aren't lovely as well...I just really like to see some other colors once-in-awhile.
I'm telling you the moment a cookie touches your lips is better than the best kiss you've ever had. I LOVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEE COOOOKKKKKKIIIIIIEEESSSSSS. I am the cookie QUEEN! I so know they are not good for you but I love them anyway. I'll run a mile to eat you. Now I just need a nice oven to bake you all in.....most beautiful cookies that were ever baked (or they will be!). Man, I need a cookie.

Just saying....Though I will have to say my favorite things to see her in are CHANEL! and CHIFFON (I LOVE CHIFFON LIKE WOW LOVE) and classic mixed up pieces.
I've noticed a lot of creative ideas for headboards on B&G and HGTV....so I thought I'd post my favorites....I really love blues if you can't tell- especially in bedrooms. To me its the most sleep promoting and soothing color out there in the lighter shades of it of course. I am more of a lighter shades of colors kind of person, though I do like punchy kind of colors for accents. Anyway these headboards are made out of bench cushions, handkerchieves, pictures and window frames. P.S. In one of the photos they use drums as the nightstands-awesomeness.
I love white cabinets in kitchens I just feel they are very classy/classic. They don't go out of style quite as much as different stains of cabinets. PLUS, white cabinets especially the upper ones keeps the entire room feeling lighter and airy, especially especially in small spaces. These are some ideas I like from HGTV's Rate My Space- that I enjoyed.
